Storm Causes Flooding & Fired in Massachusetts

The latest news in Massachusetts is that an intense storm ripped through Central Massachusetts last night. It carried blazing lightning, hard rains, and fierce winds which causes incidents of fire and flooding throughout the Massachusetts area.
There was an issued tornado warning, but none were actually reported. High winds, nonetheless caused serious damage to homes and buildings. Numerous calls were made to the Fire Department as several fire alarms were initiated. The fire station itself however was victim to basement flooding caused by the heavy rains.
The storm even caused hail stones to pour down. Some of the hails were as large as golfballs, according to the weather service. Fitchburge faced heavy flooding, causing a number of problems such as stranded cars. While Westminster faced severe power outages all over town.
